A Grade II Listed Building in Market Overton, Rutland

Cottage of c1800. Coursed limestone rubblee and C20 buff tile roof with stone chimney stacks. Above the central wooden porch is a horizontal sliding sash window under a wooden lintel. The abrupt difference between the size of stone blocks to the right of the door indicates that this was two cottages built at different times. A doorway to the right of the porch has been filled in. Either side of the porch is a mid C19 canted bay, originally with sash windows. (Photo Jun 2014).
