WHISSENDINE

House of later C18, with earlier C19 wing. Coursed rubble stone and red
brick with Welsh slate roof and 4 brick ridge and end stacks. L plan,
wing projecting forwards to right. 2 storeys of casement windows from
left: 3-light with 2-light over; door with overlight up flight of steps,
C20 canopy and 2-light over; 3-light with 2-light over; the same on wing
inner return of red brick and a 2-light both floors on the brick wing
front wall. On left end a 1 storey extension with 2-light. Right end
wall of stone. Chamfered beams inside.
