On the left, Charles Medcalf d. 1661 and on the right his wife Ann Metcalf d. 1669. Coffin lid shaped tomb covers, and headstoned with the inscriptions facing outwards. The Elizabeth Metcalfe d. 1666 and her sister Jane d. 1670, with listed headstones at nearby Burrough on the Hill, Leics, are probably their daughters. (Photo Sept 2013).
