West wall of Great Hall with putlog holes (for wooden beams) where galleries have been supported on two levels. Arched windows at the sides would be intersected at this level and have been blocked. The differences in style of the main doorway arches and the lintels of the kitchen doorways also show that the centuries have made their mark on this wall. (Photo Aug 2008).
