1879. Architect Sir G Gilbert Scott. Hoptonwood stone. A tall monument to the Countess of Loudoun modelled upon the Eleanor Crosses. Graduated octagonal base, traceried panels, crocketed finials and spire. An effective work in traditional manner. (Photo Aug 2008).
