Gilded angels supporting the C19 chancel roof. Beyond, through the two bay arcade on black marble pillars with naturalistic capitals, is the north chapel and a stained glass window by Peter white, 1955. This has 12 medallions with stories told simply, in a style similar to wood engravings. (Photo Sept 2007).
