The Hercules Monument

A Grade II Listed Building in Market Bosworth, Leicestershire

Statue of Hercules

Uploader's Comments

This statue is situated on agricultural land and is out of the way, with only distant views available from the main public footpath from Market Bosworth park to Sutton Cheney.
The Hercules PH in Sutton Cheney is claimed to be named due to the fact that it lies in a direct line drawn from Market Bosworth church, through the monument site to the pub.
Unfortunately, Hercules is missing his left hand.
