Row of four houses and shops. Late C18. Brick with plain tiled roofs. Tall
two storeyed, varied plan forms of one or two units. Nos. 16 and 18 have
former C19 shop fronts with panelled doors with overlights alongside wide many
paned windows in moulded wood architraves. Other windows to ground floor are
sashes of 12 and 16 panes with cambered brick heads. Upper windows are 24
pane sashes. Deep wood moulded eaves cornice. Gable and axial stacks.
Although the properties form a terraced row they are not of uniform build, and
the floor levels throughout do not correspond.
