Lodge, 1840s by William Railton, white brick with red sandstone dressings, fishscale
slate roof, diagonally set brick stacks (rebuilt). "Tudor Gothic" manner.
Two-storeys. Right-hand side has gabled projection with 3-light rectangular window
with mullions and transom and glazing bars, beneath hoodmould, to ground floor, and
similar 2-light window to 1st floor. Left-hand side has gabled porch with arched
entrance and shield of arms over.
