Swithland slate roof. A low two storeys throughout. Left hand unit has square panelled framing with continuous vertical posts, arch braces, and sill beam raised on stone plinth. Two wall plates visible, the upper relating to heightening of the roof. Brick infill with some Measham gobs at eaves level. Two casement windows and two horizontal sliding sashe windows in this unit. Middle part is two unit with central door and three-light casements to ground floor. Horizontal sashes over. Right hand unit, a single bay appears to be a later addition in different brick work. Measham gobs are extra large size bricks which were manufactured in nearby Measham in response to a tax on the number of bricks used in new buildings. (Photo Dec 2014).
