South west aspect. The two lower stages of the tower are C13. The top stage with crenellations and the blocking in the 2nd stage lancets are C15. Notice the pinker colour of the stone. Clasping buttresses, with stepped diagonal and angle buttreses added at the base. (Photo Jul 2007).
