Barn with attached stable and two attached shelter sheds.Barn probably early C18 re-using some earlier timbers with C19 rear and side outshut additions;stable early C19;shelter sheds mid C19.Timber-framed with weatherboard cladd-ing and rubblestone and brick plinths;plain tile roofs.Three-bay barn with out-shut additions on right side and to rear right;lower two-bay stable on left;lower shelter sheds to right,of four bays,and projecting to front left,of five bays.Barn has central carty entry with double board door; later two-light window and board door to right,later board door with window over to left; and board door to outshut.Stable-door to stable.Shelter sheds have posts on brick pad-stones with arched braces to eaves plate,right-hand shelter-shed with later brick infilling and cladding posts.Rear:barn has rubblestone plinth,the added outshut and stable brick plinths;barn has low opposing cart-entry;stable has two later windows.Left return:shelter-shed roof has decorative 'V' and fishscale tile bands.Interior:barn:reused jowelled wall posts flank rear cart entrance and formerly-jowelled wall posts flank front cart-entry other wall posts unjowelled;large-panelled framing,mostly with later infill studs,the left-hand wall C19; braces,mostly arched,from wall post to wall plate and tie-beams;curved queen struts clasp through purlins;old rafters.Stable:framing has close-set studs;collared roof truss;plank wind braces.Shelter sheds:queen-strut roof trusses clasping through purlins;ridge-pieces.
