II

House. C17? core, refronted in late C18, with C19 extension to rear. Red and
brown brick with plain tiled roofs, red brick extensions with some tile hanging
on first floor to rear. Two storeys. New entrance front now on end. Central
gable with deep eaves and blocked roundel window. Stacks to either side on
front. 12-pane, glazing bar sash windows, one on each floor of each side, that
to first floor left painted on. Central door in rendered, rusticated surround
with 4-panels. Early C19 balcony across with wrought iron roundel and quatrefoil
railings on first and ground floors, trellis work arch to centre of ground floor
with thin columns either side. Right hand return front:- parapet to wall, large
rebuilt central stack. Door to right of centre in trellis porch. One 16-pane,
glazing-bar sash to each floor.
Interior:- framed partition wall and deep fireplace.
