Here lyes interr'd Henry Benson Esq. Lord of this Manor. He married the Honourable Elizabeth Grey sister to Thomas Earl of Stamford, by whom he had two daughters, & dyed the Fourteenth day of November 1725 aged 73.

Elizabeth Christiana Benson, the eldest, dyed unmarried the fourteenth day of March 1730 aged 55 & by her will ordered this monument to be erected in memory of herself & father.

Jane Grey Benson, the youngest, married Lucy Knightley of Fawsley in ye county of Northampton Esq. by whom she had two sons & four daughters & dyed the third day of December 1731 aged 46.
