C1870-80 purpose built jewellry quarter workshop. Three storeys red brick
with blue brick dressings to the window arches used consistently on upper
floors. Six bay front. Plinth with a blue brick boundary between window
sills on each floor. Boxed flat eaves to low pitched slate roof. Two 3 light
display windows flanking ground floor with shallow, shaped end, fascias, sensitively
lettered. The left hand facia carried over 4 panel door with plain fanlight.
Segmental waggon arch slightly off centre abutting round headed doorway.
These and the round arched upper floor windows all have blue brick trim and
alternating pairs of blue voussoir bricks, this 2 tone use of brick being the
dominant coloursitic theme of the elevation contrasting with the stucco block
sills.
