TG 02 SE SALLE SALLE MOOR

4/124 South Lodge and Walls

GV II

Former pair of estate workers' cottages forming one of two lodges to Moor Hall. Late
C19, of flint with gault brick dressings and black pantile roof. Semi-detaohed,
2 storeys, with rear single storey gabled scullery and 2 gables to the road, flanking
a lean-to porch, with 2 entrance doors under. Casement windows to the road with cast
iron reticulated tracery and segmental brick arches. External stack at each end with
triple moulded brick shafts. To the road, an attached brick and flint wall with
entrance gates, and to the driveway, a flanking wall with timber lattice fence with
cast iron finials and gate posts with cast iron acorn finials.
