Early C17 house, extended during the C17, with 2 wings and staircase wing to the north
forming an irregular 'E'-plan. A flat roofed C19 extension lies between the staircase
wing and the north west wing. The east wing is of 3 bays with an off centre axial stack,
hipped roof to the east and parapet gable to the west with C19 chimney. C19 timber
porch on the south, with a carved barge board. North east wing with string course at
first floor level. North parapet gable with 2 oculus and with 2 C20 circular windows.
Triple polygonal chimney shafts with moulded bases. North gable wall of staircases
wing with window with semi-circular brick arch. North west wing, with string course
at first floor level. North parapet gable with 2 oculus and with 2 C2O circular windows.
Triple polygonal chimney shafts with moulded bases. North gable wall of staircase
wing with window with semi-circular brick arch. North west wing, with string course
at first floor level, 2 oculus' in parapet gable with 2 polygonal chimney shafts with
moulded base. Fine C17 oak dog leg stair and balustrade with square "vase" profile
newels and balusters and with moulded handrails. Fretted timber arch to winding
attic stair with a balustrade at the top.
