TM 09 SW SNETTERTON

8/72 North Farmhouse.

- II

Farmhouse. Mid C18 flint built rear range with rendered brick facade of mid
C19. Pantiled roofs. 2 storeys. Facade of 7 bays broken back in 3 planes.
Broken pediment doorcase on plain columns right of centre containing panelled
door below semi-circular medallion with carved fan. All windows are wide
tripartite sashes, smaller to first floor. Central bays with brick string
course at first floor. Hipped roofs with 2 symmetrical stacks on rear slope.
2 rear crosswings and extension to north mid C18. Hipped roofs. Scattered
fenestration under segmental arches, mostly casements. Third crosswing to
west is early 1950's.
