Farmhouse. C17 with C20 alterations. Sandstone rubble with stone slate
roof. L-plan with cross-wing at west end, facing south, axial stack back-
ing onto through-passage in main range. Two storeys to cross-wing, single
storey and attic to remainder; south front, gable end of cross-wing to left
with C20 window on upper floor and 2-light casement to ground floor, single
storey with attic to main range with 2-light casement in half-dormer, 3-
light casement windows flank doorway to right with wooden frame and ledged
door. The interior is reputed to retain a doorway with segmental head and
stop-chamfered doorposts. The house may originally have been timber-framed
as there are fragments of square panelled framing in east wall of cross-wing.
