SO 33 SE DULAS CP -

4/16 Little Cwm Dulas

- II

Farmhouse. Probably C16 core, altered during late C17, further minor late
C19 - early C20 alterations. Sandstone rubble with part stone slate and
part corrugated metal roof. Rectangular plan aligned north-east/south-west
with entrance toward centre of south-east front, south-west gable end stack
with integral winder staircase. Single storey and attic; north-west front:
one dormer window to right with 2-light casement, 2-light window openings
flank draught doors to left-hand section. Interior: reveals cruck construc-
tion formerly of two bays with end truss embedded in stonework of south-west
gable end, remaining trusses appear to have been altered, late C17 inserted
cross-beamed ceiling with chamfered main crossing beams. North-east end
used as barn.
