5/12 Hollingwood Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Mainly late C18 to early C19, probably with C17 origins. Sandstone
rubble plinth, brick, concrete tiled roofs and brick end stacks. Roughly
rectangular plan, two parallel ranges aligned north/south and linked at north
end. Cellar and two storeys. Garden front to east has three windows,
segmentally-headed 3-light mid-C19 casements; central gabled porch with 4-
panelled late C19 to early C20 door, and dentilled brick eaves cornice.
West elevation has tallet stairs rising from north over central ledged door
to ground floor to roughly central first floor ledged door to the left of
which is a re-positioned C13 stiff-leaf capital. Interior noted as having
heavy chamfered, ground floor ceiling beams (RCHM Vol I, p 10 - 11).
