Inn; early C19; painted Flemish bond brickwork, slate roof.
Three windows wide, 2 storeys and attics, 2 rooms deep. Six-panel
front door, top fielded, bottom 2 flush; panelled reveals, semi-
circular fanlight: reeded pilasters each side, small peaked hood
on brackets. Single storied canted bays either side, sash
windows, flat roofs. First floor 4-pane wide sash either side
under cambered, rubbed-brick arch, smaller, blind opening in
centre. Dentil eaves. Gable chimney projects on right, internal
stack to left of centre. M-roof. Later, single-storey extension
on right. Forms group with barn and cider mill (q.v.).
