Mid 19th century. Group of houses irregularly disposed around green. Each
house 3 bays wide; 3 storeys and basement; channelled stucco ground floor;
brick with stucco dressings to upper floors. Arched heads to first floor
windows; bracketed eaves cornice to low pitch slate roofs. All houses arranged
in pairs except No 12 (detached). Outer bays of each pair with stucco balconette
to first floor window, doubling in some cases as door hood, some now missing;
others with missing porches.
