Mid C18 pair of houses set back behind forecourt. 4 storeys above high basement.
3 windows and 5 windows. Red brick with segmental window arches and moulded brick
cornice below top storey, which is of yellow brick. Painted doorcases with engaged
Ionic columns and pediments. Plain railings to steps and front area. Altered
glazing to No 27. Plain, irregular return to No 28. Interior of No 28 is unusually
fine and little altered.
