Group of 3 cottages, no 33 detached, nos 35 and 37 semi-detached.
Early C19. Yellow stock brick with slated, hipped roofs. 2 storeys.
No 33- central entrance has hood on cast iron brackets and panelled
double doors with overlight. Flanking ground floor French windows with
painted gauged brick heads. 1st floor 4-pane sashes have painted
gauged brick heads. To the rear facade, a cast and wrought iron
verandah. Interior retains original features including marble
chimneypiece and grate, plasterwork ceiling bands.
Nos 35 and 37 in similar style. No 35 has round-arch to recessed
entrance with panelled door and sidelight. No 37 has similar entrance,
fronted by a later conservatory. Interiors retain original features,
no 35 including reeded marble chimneypieces, cornices with plasterwork
ceiling bands, open string stair with column newels and stick
balusters.
