Former school 1910. H.G Crothall. Red brick stone dressings; pitched tiled roof to parapet. Three main storeys and dormers.

Eight bay centre block with slightly projecting bays to either side, and treated as towers, each with cupola; lower projecting two storey wings to left and right of composition, with hipped gables and Diocletian windows in roof.

Centre block with round-headed windows to ground floor, stone architraved, tripartite with timber mullions. Upper storey with pilaster strips between the windows, rising above parapet line to arched coping; tripartite fenestration. Square-headed entrance with arched overlights to tower bays with long arched three-light mullioned and transomed windows above. Outer projecting bays each three windows wide. The square-headed window set within a stone panel. Sashes, glazing bars. Prominent keystones. Square headed dormers to central block with central pair linked by arched stucco panel with relief of draped female seated figure. Centre and tower and bay each with domed cupola. Returns with arched half dormers and stone mullioned and transomed oriels.
