Boathouse. Mid- to late C19. Red brick with ashlar quoins and dressings,
plain tiled roof. Rectangular plan; two levels - the upper level is
taller and rises from a chamfered base. Jacobean (Flemish inspired) style.
The north-east side elevation has a side chimney with tall octagonal shaft
and quadrant flanking panels and two first floor windows. Gable ends have
shaped gables with weathered stone copings and cut finials; blind oculus
in apex and also a mullet in relief. South-west side has a central break
with a small shaped gable and a doorway.
