Gateway, gates and quadrant walls. Mid- to late C19. Red brick and
sandstone ashlar. Tudor-arched gateway with hollow chamfer moulding
and rubbed brick voussoirs; square panel in stepped parapet above, on
both sides, containing Pakington coat of arms in low relief. Cast iron
gates have elaborately detailed upper rail. Quadrant side walls have an
arcade of stone 4-centred arches beneath a weathered coping; octagonal
stone end piers with moulded capping.
