Farmhouse. Late C16 with late C19 alterations. Timber-framed with painted brick and rendered infill on tall brick plinth; front elevation refaced in brick with blue brick dressings; plain tiled roofs. H-plan; central single framed bay aligned north-west/south-east with cross-wings of two framed bays; south-east cross-wing has a large external handmade brick chimney of the late C16 with two C19 star-shaped stacks. Two storeys and attics.

Framing: three rows of panels from sill to wall-plate, short straight upper braces and collar and tie-beam trusses with two collars; rear south-east wing has three struts to lower and two to upper collar; rear north-west wing has two struts to both collars. South-west front elevation: C19 refacing includes chamfered plinth, a single course first floor sill band and an eaves level band and blue header diaper patterning in gable ends. Central part has lean-to porch between wings; central archway and flanking narrow openings have pierced, cusped pointed-arched upper infill panels; door is six-panelled and has side lights. Left gable end ground-floor window is flanked by pilaster buttresses; ground and first floor windows are large three-light casements, the ground-floor one having a cambered head; in the gable apex is a rectangular stone carved with the initials " E B T "; there is a C19 stack to the left roof pitch. The right gable end has large glazed C20 doors with a tiled weathering on the ground floor, a large tthree-light first floor casement and a pair of pointed-arched attic lights; the roof has a central C19 ridge stack.

Interior not inspected. A timber-framed lean-to addition adjoins the north-west side elevation. The farmhouse was part of the former Talbot Estate.
