House. C17 or earlier, restored mid-C20. Timber-framed, painted brick and
rendered infill, painted brick replacement walling, thatched roof, hipped at
north gable end. Three framed bays, large external stack with tiled offsets,
bread oven and rebuilt detached stack at south gable end. Single storey and
attic with dormers. Framing: retained at north end; two panels from sill to
wall-plate, short straight braces in upper corners; collar and tie-beam truss
at south gable end has two struts to collar. Front elevation: irregular
fenestration, ground floor has three 3-light casements, one to each bay, and
above the central bay is an eyebrow dormer with a small 2-light casement;
C20 gabled brick porch to right of central bay has a ledged and battened door
and rectangular lights in the side elevations. Interior: central bay has a
winder staircase. C20 extension to rear of north bay.
