House and adjoining shop. Early C19 with late C19 and mid-C20 alterations.
Coursed limestone rubble, ashlar-faced with shallow pitched plain tiled roof,
ashlar gable-end parapets and brick end stacks. Two storeys and attic. Three
bays. Windows have dressed stone lintels and have large 3-light late C19 case-
ments in outer bays and a central first floor cross-casement. Central entrance
has a C20 door of six panels (the upper two are glazed). Attic lights in gable
ends. Adjoining shop is late C19. Brick with plain tiled roof. Single storey
and attic. Single bay. There is a shop front with fluted pilasters, ornate
consoles and moulded cornice. There is a C20 multi-paned replacement window
and a C20 six-panelled door. Above the shop front is a painted sign within a
painted scrolled surround which says LANDAUS WAGGONETTES/ AND HUNTERS/ FOR HIRE".
At the left gable end are two ground floor 12-pane sashes and two attic windows
with 4-pane sashes.
