Pair of houses. Early to mid-C17 with mid-C20 alterations. Timber-framed
with painted brick and rendered infill on rubble base with coursed dressed
limestone rubble gable ends, machine-tiled roof and brick ridge end stacks.
Four framed bays aligned north/south. Single storey and attic with dormers.
Framing: three rows of square panels from sill to wall-plate. West front
elevation: windows are all C20 casements. There are three 2-light windows
and a 3-light window on the ground floor and two raking-top C20 dormers
with 2-light windows. There is a glazed C20 door at the northern end and also
a partly-glazed C20 door with a gabled canopy on brackets in the southernmost
bay. Attic lights at gable ends. Lean-to addition at north gable end with a
partly-glazed door.
