Lower Wootton Farmhouse

Barn. Probably late C17 to C18. Sandstone rubble plinth and timber-frame
with weatherboarding. Corrugated iron roof. L-plan with five-bay arm to
east-north-east and three-bay arm to south-south-east. Two levels. North
elevation has wagon entry to left of centre. Two loft openings above mid-
C20 garage doors to right-hand side. Frame is three square panels high from
cill to wall-plate. Interior has raking strut trusses. Included for group
value.
