10/81 Hazel Dene

GV II

House. Part C17, but extended and altered during late C18 or early C19;
further extensive C20 alterations. Square panelled timber-framing with
brick plinth and plastered infill; rendered ground floor; Welsh slate roof.
Two bays aligned east/west probably of C17 with later added bays to west
end; gable-end and lateral stacks, entrance to south front. Two storeys.
Five 2-light C20 casement windows on first floor and ground floor with one
similar window to left of ledged door with three similar windows to right
and further doorway with canopied porch and ledged door with glazed inset.
Included for group value. (RCHM, Vol III, p 166, item 33).
