GV II

House, now cafe. C17, refronted early C18 with some mid-C19 and late C20
alterations. Rough cast brick incorporating some fragments of framing
under a slate roof. Chimney stack on north gable. East front of two storeys
with three windows, all 4-pane sashes under plastered wedge lintels with stone
sills. The sills cut through a projecting band. Ground floor has a pilastered
C19 shop front with moulded cornice. Two windows, each of three lights flank
the recessed entrance which has a two-leaf glazed door. Framing visible in
short wing to rear (west).
