Stanford Court


Service range, now factory. Mid-C18 with mid-C20 alterations. Brick
with hipped tiled roof and central ridge stack. Two storeys with modillion
eaves cornice. Probably 3:2:3 bays; central bays break forward and are
gabled; circular opening in gable apex. Elevations obscured by C20 additions
and close inspection not possible at time of survey (April 1985). However,
building is said to resemble the service range about 40 yards east of
Stanford Court (qv) in detail. Included for group value.
