Coaching inn and public house, now a house. Circa 1810-20, possibly
incorporating an earlier house. Brick with plain tiled roof; brick
modillion cornice and brick stacks at rear. 2 storeys and attic.
3 bays: the central one is advanced and surmounted by an open pediment.
Tripartite glazing bar sash windows to outer bays and single sash window
to centre. Later C19 glazed and panelled door under an overlight and a
gabled hood on plain uprights. Single storey and attic, 2 bay lower wing
at left.
