Early C19 pantile roof behind parapet. Right-hand premises of painted brick.
2 windows to 1st floor with rusticated lintels, keystones, no glazing bars.
Modern shop front. Left-hand premises has 2 windows of 6 lights, modern casements, rusticated lintels, triple keystones (later). This section rendered, carved as stone. Modern shop front. Included as part of a group.

The George Hotel, its farmer stable block, and Nos 7 to 17 (odd) form a group
of which the former stable block is local interest only.
