C18 or early C19. 3 storeys in whitewashed brick with pantile roof with stone-coped
gable to right. 4 windows, rusticated lintels, hung sashes with glazing bars.
1st floor windows similar, rusticated lintels with keystone. 1 similar window
to ground floor and 2 shop windows with rusticated heads and late C19 shop front.

The George Hotel, its farmer stable block, and Nos 7 to 17 (odd) form a group
of which the former stable block is local interest only. No 17 forms a group
with the premises to west and rear of No 17 which are local interest only.
