PEDIGREES FROM THE PLEA ROLLS,
The first Gerard Usflete:
Listed is wife Ada (Adelaide) c.1331-1332. It was his later wife Isabella de Ellay (Isabel de Ella) that is documented in Plea Rolls and other Mss has his wife and mother to the second Gerard Usflete, Isabella styled Dame then Dame and Dowager after the demise of her husband. Note: Emma Ferriby a possible wife is found mainly in pedigrees compiled at least 2 centuries later and until I can find her in Plea Rolls etc., she remains conjectural, be she a wife to the first Gerard or the second one.
