Cross stem/shaft and base placed in roof

This is part of a cross high-up in the church, i.e., the stem or shaft with a base. There is an inscription with it.
There is a similar full cross embedded in the floor on the right of the tower. Part of it is covered with a shelved wooden bookcase.
