House. 1854, by Cuthbert Brodrick. Brick with stone dressings, slate roof.
2 storeys, 2 window front. Chamfered plinth, quoins. To left projecting
2 storey porch containing boarded door with scrolled hinges in pointed
chamfered surround. 3-light window to right with margin-pane glazing under
chamfered pointed arch. Moulded first-floor string-course. Lancet window
over door, 2-light windows to right, each with margin-pane glazing in
chamfered surround with pointed head. Moulded eaves cornice, with
grotesques. Coped parapet with quatrefoil to porch, coped gablet with
cinquefoil to right. Raised coped gables, ridge cresting. External end
stack to right.
