Farmhouse. Late C18 - early C19 with earlier origins. Red brick. Concrete
pantile roof. 2-room, central entrance-hall plan. 2 storeys with attic, 3
bays; symmetrical. C20 half-glazed panelled door and plain overlight in
architrave beneath C20 open timber porch. 16-pane sashes in flush wooden
architraves, those to first floor narrower, with sills and stucco flat
arches incised in imitation of rubbed brick. Straight joints (perhaps from
earlier blocked openings) beside most windows. Stepped eaves. Tumbled-in
brick to raised gables. End stacks. Interior contains open well staircase
with corniced handrail, column-on-vase balusters and plain newels; fielded-
panel window shutters to ground floor right; not fully investigated. Range
adjoining to left is not of special interest.
