Part of the hospital premises (at time of listing). Built as stable block circa 1820, converted into apartments in 1993. Two storeys in brick with stone eaves band and console cornice. five and three windows, at cills; four and three windows to ground floor, rusticated stone lintels. Later hung sashes with glazing bars. Large pedimented main archway, heavily rusticated and vermiculated, now filled by modern door. Rusticated round-headed small entrance to the left with radiating semi-circular fanlight. Stone plinth.

Nos 7 to 31 (odd) and the Avenue Hospital, stables and wall form a group. No 21
(including former No 19) is of local interest.
