House. Mid-late C18. Light brown brick with stone dressings, timber eaves
cornice, graduated Westmoreland slate roof. Plinth. 2 storeys, 3 bays in
symmetrical elevation with rear wing,. Door of 6 raised and fielded panels under
fanlight with radial glazing in doorcase with fluted pilasters and dosserets
to open dentilled pediment: portrait medallions to frieze and apex, the
latter flanked by wheatear festoons. 16-pane sashes with sills under
slightly cambered gauged brick arches to right and to left. First-floor
band. 3 similar sashes to first floor. Modillion eaves cornice, end
stacks, raised coped gables on shaped kneelers.
