Dovecote, shelter shed and cartshed. C1800. Red brick partly Flemish bond,
pantiled roof. 2-storey, 1-bay centre set forward of 1-storey, l-bay side
wings, outshot to rear-left adjoins cowhouse (g.v). Centre has rebated, basket-
arched cart entrance ( now without doors). Set beneath a square opening with
store ledge and flat arch; store ledge and pigeon holes beneath eaves on right
return. Wing to right has an old boarded door beneath flat arch whilst left
wing is blind but has basket-arched, shelter-shed openings on its left return.
Detailed eaves to hipped roofs; truncated central apex presumably site of a
lantern. Interior: access to dovecote via ladder within right wing; line-ash
floor, remains of clay-tile nesting boxes, pattern-book king post trusses.
