Gateway.

G.V. II

Gateway. 1855. Coursed rubble and ashlar dressings. Large
flattened arch flanked on either side by two smaller
symmetrical gateways. All three arches are double
chamfered, have heraldic shields and scrolled ribbons above,
and are separated by octagonal buttresses with weatherings,
bands and crocketed pinnacles. Each end is terminated by
weathered angle buttresses with diagonally set square
shafted crocketed pinnacles. The gables are coped and
stepped. The gates are cast iron.
