House. Probably C16, altered and extended C18, early and late C19 and late C20.
Timber framed and clad with sandstone on ground floor and tile hanging on first
floor with red brick and tile hung C20 rear wing. Plain tiled roofs. Lobby entry
plan. Two storeys and garret on plinth with half-hipped roof with gablets and stack
cluster to centre right. Three 2 light wooden casements on first floor and 2 three
light wooden casements on ground floor with multi panelled door to centre right in
gabled and trellised porch. Two storey C19 bay with sashes on right return. Parallel
lower 2 storey range attached to rear, also half-hipped, with glazing bar sashes and
panelled door in re-entrant angle to projecting C20 wing. Large scantling framing
visible in interior.
