Gate, lodge and walls. 1794 by Boncey of Margate for Benjamen Bond
Hopkins. Stuccoed in Gothick style. Two storeys with plinth, moulded
string courses and string course and battlements. Two machicolated
stacks to left. Single 2 light Gothick sash with label hood on first
floor, and single lights on ground floor either side of C20 crazy
paved porch with panelled and studded door and ogee domed roof. Two
Gothick sashes on each floor to returns and blank and sashed windows
to rear. Length of brick wall, about 7 feet high to left connecting
to gate of quadrant wall. See item 1/ 231 for history.
