Late mediaeval hall house, with restorations. Hipped tiled roof with compound
ridge stack. Cl9 tile hung 1st floor and brick ground floor. Projecting gabled
left wing with offset external stack on inner return, Casement windows. Inside
very heavy timbers, plank and muntin panelling, newel staircase and moulded
beams. Remains of original paintwork on some door posts. Modern west extension
in "Georgian" style, Court leets said to have been held here.
